GPS design history

Garner Preston & Strebel was established in 1960 by Stephen Garner, Derek Preston and Walter Strebel, after the Partners won First Prize in the RIBA Competition for the Dumbarton Central Area Redevelopment. The Practice was involved in the design and development of this project and other projects in Scotland over the subsequent 20 years. With  offices in London and Glasgow the Practice quickly expanded and became experienced in a wide ranging field of architecture, including offices, banks, dealing rooms, shops, public buildings, churches, schools, sports facilities, private houses, interior design, office refurbishments and landscape design. Projects of all sizes, up to £20m, have been completed.
